  4. At this point, I have not finished converting portions of the 1.0 design to
  5. the new 2.0 design.  Things that are still waiting to be converted:
  6.  
  7.      o All inter-node communications, such as paging and chatting.
  8.  
  9.      o Local email and message bases.
  10.  
  11.      o UMS email and message bases.
  12.  
  13.      o Parts of file base.
  14.  
  15. I realize that those are the most important parts of making a BBS function,
  16. but that is where the design of WWBBS 2.0 comes in.  Any program that runs
  17. through the shell can run through WWBBS.  In fact, the actual BBS was
  18. written to run in a standard shell, so to handle email you can run ELM, to
  19. handle the message bases you can run TIN.  I will try to convert them ASAP.

  21. I recommend that you read through the entire doc file because it is not the
  22. most complete and it is not the most organized doc file, so you should read
  23. as much as possible.

  25. Note that the included HydraCom executable is simply Olaf Barthel's port,
  26. revision 1.  I know about revision 2 but most of the things he changed I
  27. already had changed.
